Router & Sony Multi Channel Receiver - STR-DA6400ES

    Hello,
    This may seem a little strange, so if you don't understand my question(s), please ask me to supply you with more information.

    My PC & my wireless router are in my office in the basement. I have my entertainment system, including my Sony Multi Channel AV Receiver - STR-DA6400ES, which I can connect to the internet via a networking cable, up two levels in my Entertainment room.

    I cannot run a networking cable from the basement to the top floor of my house. Is there anyway I can connect my Sony AV Receiver to the internet?

    I would really appreciate any and all help regarding my problem.

    Could I use a wireless network adapter connected to my STR-DA6400ES to access my network? I don't want to run a Cat 5e Ethernet cable through my house. I would appreciate any and all comments concerning this subject.
