Running desktop apps in Metro UI screen - is it possible?

    The only way I can find the Metro UI worthy is if I can launch desktop apps in Metro UI screen, but I can't figure out how to do it or if there is a way or a program that lets you do it.

    I have not used it much, it does not run at all after disabling UAC for good. No appz for me. But from me fooling around with it I think fullscreen 1.1 will now window 2 application at once and these are not desktop apps. I think it is a touch interface roughly thrown over the desktop interface. Like windows was thrown over dos. At this point it does not work at all for desktop PC's and I would advise you just forget about it.

    From what I know it's possible only the other way around, with third-party tools.
