Running Vista64, go to Dual boot with Win7...how to?

    Currently running an Abit ip35pro with mod bios and asus cert.

    Have downloaded bios mod to update to 2.1.

    My plan is to update my bios so I can then install and run Win7.

    My guess is when I update the bios, I will lose my asus activation on Vista64 and will have to reactivate with a Dell cert and key for Vista. At that point, my current Vista64 will be ok.

    Then I can install on a separate drive, Windows 7 and activate it by using the new Dell key for Win7.

    Is this correct or have I missed something?
