Is it safe to complete uninstall Internet Explorer inside Windows 10, or is it still part of the System like on earlier versions? I uninstalled it once years ago in Windows 7 and very bad things happened.

You can safely uninstall IE11 and edge, i do not see why this would be a problem. I removed both just like i always uninstalled IE on previous windows versions and i have never had any issues due to this.

not good idea if you planned to use edge.
The situation I had: view a page and get info that "this page should be viewed with ie. click to run IE"
After this incident I decided to get rid of both edge and IE.
