A friend of mine wants to use the cycling backgrounds in windows 8 with 2 monitors but it behaves like this:
    monitor1:background1;monitor2:background2
    change of backgrounds
    monitor1:background3;monitor2:background4

he wants both monitors to show the same background

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

Use third-party software. Like Actual Multiple Monitors. I am not sure about if there is any hack for windows 8 to achieve this..

I use Windows 8 with that 2 monitors and it works "out of the box"! Same as in Windows 7, Vista and does in XP! Only thgings what need to be done, is to use under Multiple Displays: Extend these displays! And that all what normally need to be done.

Even if I disconnect the 2. Monitor, I get all what I placed on the those No. 2 back on the first. Connect No. 2 again and all is back.
