    Hi Community

    I recently acquired a faulty Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook 530U4B-S01 ultrabook.

    What happens is the ultrabook turns off when press near top left of track pad, the alt key and space bar. If you press keys with any force, the laptop turns off.

    Does anyone have any ideas on what i should do to fix this issue?

    There's usually a big aluminum panel on the back of the keyboard I suspect a metal part is shorting something out when anything is pressed,

    I would remove the keyboard and the trackpad, lay a piece of cardboard or plastic under them and see if the problem persists.
