Sapphire HD 5770 - HD screen required?

    Hi all,

    this may be a dumb question, but I'm helping someone assemble a new PC and we want to put a Sapphire HD5770 in. However, the resolution of his monitor (1680x1050 native) is not included in the supported resolution. So my question is, can we use this card or is an HD screen required?
