sata not working with windows 7 help(noob)

    ok i need you help guys. i just installed win 7 and my slave drive witch is sata dosent show. when i go into the bios it shows the drive but when i try to enable it, it wont let me and its says something about "NCQ not supported" before win 7 i had vista and bouth drives work, im not that good with pcs but if anyone could help me that would be great.

    How is the drive that you have Windows 7 installed connected? Is it via a SATA or PATA cable?

    If it's the latter then you're missing the SATA drivers for your controller. So I would pop onto your motherboards manufacturers site and download the drivers and install.

    Disk Management...Action...Rescan. Try that.

    What you have type is not clear, there's some missing information, where did you try to enable it, what show you "NCQ not supported"? We don't have access to your computer physically, thus try to provide as much information as possible, be clear and concise.
