i've search the forum with no result my problem is kinda weird, i've set a time in power options to turn off monitor (MSI VR420) but after reaching that time, it turns off...just for a sec i think and back to on again. fiddling with advanced power options with no avail, any suggestion? TIA
do you have a screen saver enabled before the monitor shut off? I had a similar problem on my Dell laptop as the screen would not fully shut off if a screen saver was going before the monitor shut off. Once I set the screen save to "none" the laptop lcd finally went fully dark. Hope you will be able to find a fix for your problem
i had no screen saver set for my laptop atm. so it might be different solution for me thanks for the input anyway
simple solution : Run the Windows Experience Index.............that monitor on/off is actually Windows Experience Index running since ur system is idle.So just complete the assessment nd u will not face this prblm again.
