Try the Power& Sleep Settings again and change all plans to 'Never'.

Nobody bothers about sreen saver anymore. 10 minutes is on the high side of time to turn off your system screen. Perhaps he doesn't want the system to sleep at all that is the reason he wants to change the plan.

    Settings | System | Power & Sleep.

First post on seven-year-old account, nice.

Run on command line, note GUID:
    Code:
    powercfg /getactivescheme
Use the GUID value you got with this command:
    Code:
    powercfg /q xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx SUB_VIDEO VIDEOIDLE
    What's the output?

That would really help to know where the error is emanating from. I still think the plans are not properly set by looking at what he did trying to turn off all plans.

Toshiba Satellite P750 is a older box.....some times it doesnt matter if your setting are set correctly older hardware struggles with win10...if hes running a 5400 rpm HD that could also be a issue.

Just clean installed 1607 on someone's old desktop with a 5400 RPM WD Green. Works absolutely fine. If older drives don't work properly in some instances then either they're failing or perhaps a non-MS storage driver is not 100% compatible with 1607.
