Seagate Expansion HDD

    How come I need to turn power off and on when I disconnect and reconnect my Seagate HDD?

    Is this a must? Because my comp cannot recognize my Seagate HDD when I reconnect it to another USB port... :confused::confused:

    It sometimes even cannot detect and causes me to restart my comp~ Anyone here has such a problem?

    Not supposed to work like that, did you check if the drive is going bad, Aida64 can check SMART.
