Seamless upgrade from 10.0.10240 to 10.0.10586

    HI, tho I've applied all updates thru Windows Update WinVer still reports build 10240.
    Ive used installation media with build 10586 and was rejected as for upgrading offline as for upgrading online.
    Is there a chance to do the upgrade anyway? Without losing of installed 3rd party software and user settings of course :g:

    The only way is to upgrade online with same Language and Edition - unless you play registry trick to do Cross-Language and Cross-Edition Upgarde/Downgrade.

    Thats funny..I upgraded with the 10586 media and it worked???????

    I think your left with just clean install as the only choice
