    Hi,

I run a 2k3 Server and I usually connect to it remotely, but recently there were unwanted connections to it (e.g brute force attack attempts) and would like to know is it possible to do something similar like enabling NLA (Network Level Authentication) that was only in Server 2008 and later. Any advice is helpful

change to a VPN type setup, where you VPN in to your network, then use remote desktop

remote desktop should not be accessible on the general internet these days no matter the version of windows
