seeking converter for 720p.BluRay.x264 to *.avi

    I hope I'm in the right thread... the question is in the title: I need to convert a movie into avi format, I tried with mkvtoolmix which put all contained files in one single file but still in mkv format, the "divx converter" tells me it's a file type it can't convert.

    If this is actuall bluray disk then dvdfab can do it.

    I was also on lookout for such a proggie. The problem is that most LCD TVs do not accept mkv as valid file on connecting pendrive via USB

    I would suggest the Winnydows converter. xvid4PSP is a good program and doe a TON of conversions like you need. I strongly suggest you visit this tool..

    I'll give your tip a try as I finally could read it after above mentionned conversion on my tv trough the "isp media box" but without sound o_O

    AVS4you video converte finally made it, excellent output quality, sound ok
    I never heard or read about this software before I googled it.
