Hi folks...Seems like i have all the "Retail" disks, but for Laptops i need OEM...I also have a Toshiba that has a GENIUNE "Home Basic" licence, but wont work on a retail disk ( that i have downloaded somewhere from one of these threads ). Do you guys maybe have a OEM version that you know about that's on Mediafire?

thx a bunch...and sorry for all these questions. I don't need "Slic's" as i use the disks on "legit" laptops for repair...

Slics are embedded in the BIOS...... Download Vista from the threads and use your OEM-key, that should work. If theyre original and came with vista you can use Windows Loader instead of wasting OEM-keys.

I downloaded the "retail" version posted here ( couldnt find a legit OEM ), but then realized you cant use a OEM licence on a "Retail"-package...Luckely i have a RTM "brand" lying around here and believe it should work with a OEM-key...o_O

    YAHOO....my RTM version worked ;-)
The reason i dont worry so much about the SLIC's ( although i think i might head towards that direction ) is i have a small computer shop here in south Africa, and i can't install fake keys...the cops will "bust" me
