I hardly believe that MS would do that! That would simply mean that ALL KMS activated Windows 10 would be affected and that includes the Machines of many legal (mainly corporate customers) users!
Yeah, could be. Is there a way for me to update my KMS software to see if that fixes the issue? I've searched the board but I don't quite understand how to check if my KMS software needs updating and how to do it if it does.
Just disabe the service or defender. The automatic maintence service might also hog cpu. I'd disable that too.
this service is related to the defender, kms has nothing to do with it. bcoz i dont have any kms and i've seen this service running sometimes.
Hello Zankman, The service "sppsvc" is the "Software Activation" service, setting the registry key "Start" to "4" equals to "Disable". This may cause your Windows to deactivate itself and may cause problems in other programs such as Office. Instead look in Windows Defender if it is trying to Quarantine your KMS program and White-list it. Btw, what KMS activation solution are you using and what Windows Version, Edition and Build are you running?
Put your kms server on another Windows or Linux machine or even on your cellphone and activate it from there just like a large company would do then defender will have nothing to complain about and as long as you remember to reactivate it once in a while like every three months you're good to go ...T
KMS_VL_ALL - Smart Activation Script: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pro-and-office-2013.49686/page-76#post-838808
That's an even better idea, much simpler ! Put it on a flash drive plug it in activate , take it out. ...T
Extract all the files inside the 7zip archive on a folder. Right click on KMS_VL_ALL.cmd and run as administrator.
Or create a scheduled task to run it once on every boot, like mtk. You can also run mtkv262 with whitelist in defender.
What KMS solution was used that started that mess? You still didn't answer this question. If you disable sppsvc it makes no sense to use any activation solution, that won't work.
