I used to activate my Server 2008 Enterprise Edition with my Standard Edition Key from Dreamspark. This Worked fine for SP1 but it does not seem to be working anymore with the SP2 Version. Can anybody confirm this? Does anybody know a workaround?
    Thanks

If you just recently acquired a key from Dreamspark then those keys for 2008 are Retail Standard keys and will only work on those versions. Are you trying to use that key during installation or afterwards on the Computer properties screen? If you try to use that key during installation then no it will not continue, but if you go in afterwards and put it in you might be able to get it to activate the other way. Hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks for your answers. I tried to install without key and activate later but it didnt accept the key either. It always says 'wrong version for that key' or sth like that.
I will try to use an older dreamspark key, maybe that'll work.
