Server 2012 R2 activation questions

    Hello,

    I am currently using Server 2012. I modified my BIOS to include DELL 2.2 SLIC and activated my windows 2012 successfully.

    Yesterday I saw there is Server 2012 R2 already and I want to upgrade.

    My question is: Can I activate R2 with same DELL 2.2 SLIC?
    Or are there any available methods for activating R2?

    maby someone knows is there eny bios mod out yet for dell PowerEdge r710 or r310 with dell slic 2.3

    So I have to replace my 2.2 SLIC with this generated 2.3 SLIC and flash my BIOS again?
    I forgot what tools I used to modify my BIOS. Its AMI.
    Can you point me to the correct tools for modifying.
    I am with UEFI BIOS if that matters.


    Also which Windows I should use?
    MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.SERVER.2012.R2.RTM.X64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
    or
    MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.SERVER.2012.R2.RTM.X64.VOLUME.WITH.ROLLUP-1.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT


    And what about the key? Does the key have to be matching with Dell SLIC or its matching to Windows version?

    I am confused now. So there is not way to activate R2 with SLIC 2.3 from Dell or Fujitsu?
