I'm not 100% sure but I think all Iso's are the same retail and VL, its just the product key that makes it VL people feel free to correct me if im wrong

These are the 'official' gVLK and Retail Install Keys (they won´t activate) for Windows 8.1, taken from product.ini of Win 8.1 Enterprise.

vartaxe: The second one (4098MB) is what you will find for download in VLSC based on what you have purchased. That said, you can install either Retail, OEM or VL media using the generic (GVLK) key and insert your MAK later when it's made available to you.

As for Exchange, download the latest service pack and install it (Exchange service packs, releases, whatever they are calling them now are full media and can be used for initial install). You can activate with your key later.

dunno why all that differents filenames tough it would be easier for everyone if there was just one filename

what are the best hyperv 2012 r2 practices?

should i leave the vm host and vm hdd as default on C:\
or perhaps move the vm hdd to d:\
or even move both the vm host and vm hdd to D:\

also if my d:\ has 1TB free space can i create a 2TB vhdx? or isn't it recomended?
