Tried the manual method for KMS38 and just activates for the usual 180 days. Looking for activation until year 2038.

KMS IP shows that you haven't applied the readme instructions fully, otherwise it would have shown 127.0.0.2
Anyway, sending the steps in convo now.

I did a test upgrade in place of a virtual machine running Windows Server 2019 with 2 NICs configured as a router with IPv4 and IPv6.
Not very complicated but all configured at the command line in the netsh tool.
The upgrade was from Windows Server 2019 to Windows Server 2022 Insider Preview build 20344 and was perfectly smooth and kept all configuration.
    Very pleased with the experience.
The current build 20344 can very well be designated as release.
Might have not yet identified bugs, but this is usually the case with most new OS anyway.

Note: Be warned, do not perform this procedure for a production machine, as it is not clear if there will be a supported upgrade path from IP to RTM.

This can't be final since RTM will be released in the fall.
