    X-Men: First Class .... Not my all-time favourite movie (quite good nevertheless) - but definitely a top class scene :D

    Instead of offering a dialogue, how about two of my favorite monologues? From the 1976 movie "Network", the two monologues by the news anchor/prophet Howard Beale, played by Peter Finch.





    Network was nominated for a total of ten Academy Awards and won four: Best Actor (Peter Finch), Best Actress (Faye Dunaway), Best Supporting Actress (Beatrice Straight), and Best Screenplay (Paddy Chayefsky).
    To date, Network is the only movie to win in three out of the four Best Actor/Actress categories.

    Unfortunately, Peter Finch died of a heart attack on January 14, 1977 in the lobby of the Beverly Hills Hotel, and became the first actor to be posthumously awarded the Oscar for Best Actor.
