Hello All. When a folder is shared in windows 7/8 through the sharing wizard, the system will expose the full path of the folder. For example if I shared a folder named sharedFolder residing on the desktop, shared folder path would be \\computer_name\users\user_name\desktop\sharedFolder instead of \\computer_name\sharedFolder. is there an explanation of this behavior? On the contrary if a folder is shared through advanced sharing the system will use \\computer_name\sharedFolder as a sharing path This really doesn't make any sense
