short cuts

    need help please, i dont know what ive done. but when i try and open a short cut on the desktop thay all open in note pad with a lot of writing at the top of note pad, plus the bottom of the taskbar is the same. how do i get them back please windows 7 x86.

    Run an anti-virus and see if there is malicious action.
