Shorting out Winbond

    First time posting here. I was wondering what pins do I short out to reset the bios password. I accidentally locked my bios sometime ago and cant remember my password. There are 8 pins on the chip. BTW winbond 25q16bvsig

    pin 1- /cs pin 5-DI
    pin 2-DO pin 6-CLK
    pin 3-/wp pin 7-/hold
    pin 4-Gnd pin 9-VCC

    I know these are the pins but which ones do I need to short out to remove the bios password on my sony Vaio model VPCEE25fx

    safest way would be to dump the bios chip with USB SPI programmer .. then compare it to the dloaded bios
    in case u do burn up the chip.. u can replace it with the backup.bin

    check out dell 24c02 bios short trick. might be same
