has anybody else had the problem that when they go start -> shutdown it just hibernates

since installing it last night i have had to hold down the power button to turn it off (and boot into W7)

i have quad boot XP,7,8, Ubuntu netbook 10.10

I had this with 7850, but not with 7955.
I thought it had something to do with if hybrid hibernate is enabled or not, but I'm not sure.

You have to disable Hybrid Boot in the Power Optins --> Choose what the power buttons do.

Well I'm not sure about it, but I thought that it was a bug that caused windows to hibernate instead of shutting down, when hybrid hibernate was enabled in powersettings.
    Probably running "shutdown.exe -s -t 00" manually works OK.

And something like hybrid boot does not exist as far as I know.

config screen -> power options -> change plan setings (of selecte plan) -> change advanced power settins -> sleep -> allow hybrid sleep (turn off)

EDIT: Oh sorry I'm completely wrong!

But how do you get that?? The power options look just like in win7 here.
