    Hi,

I would like to have a solid black background for the shutting down and Ctrl-Alt-Del screens.

Any ideas, thanks for the great work.......

There is not this folder in Windows 10 : C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds
    Maybe only in Windows 7.

I tried it out of curiosity and no it did not work...amazing how something so simple has to be so complicating...thanks for the replies, hopefully we find something.

So choose dark gray or change desktop background to black.

the desktop wallpaper will not change the color of the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen or Shutting down screen. It defaults with the accent color.

I'm trying to find the registry key that points to the ctrl-alt-del and shutting down screens to the accent colour so I can remove it and set a custom colour. What a pain just to get a black background.
