Reading about Win 10 Signature Edition causing problems with re install etc. I am thinking of buying a new laptop next year, and do not want to be restricted to a certain Win 10 version or BIOS lock. Would some kind person please explain in simple terms, whether or not there are problems with buying a Signature Edition Laptop. I will not be trying Linux. I am not sure how easy it is to avoid this. Lenovo seem to be mentioned as a big problem, requiring contacting the manufacturer for "permission" to re install. I have done a search before posting, but cannot find this question. Many thanks
Signature edition is just a clean copy of Windows 10, no junkware, no extras other than a wallpaper background. No reason for there to be any issues with reinstalling Windows on it unless the hardware ID is broken, same as any PC bought with Windows 10. All that "Signature Edition" means is that the only oem software installed on it when you purchase it is drivers. No third party software whatsoever.
I don't understand why you say it's not allowed to show. Where? Here in MDL or someone doesn't allow?
Yet I don't get it, if he has enough post count then why not a screenshot like mine... Moreover, what's that 1734er with Signature thing?
