Silent updates, is that true?

    I've read that it's possible for microsoft to install silent updates into their operating systems with or without permission. A process built into the OS or something like that. It's not something too far-fetched right?

    It's so far happened only twice, both times by accident, according to Microsoft. Of course, anything *can* be done, but if you're going to fear Big Brother, may as well just wear a tinfoil hat and stay away from computers and cosmic rays. =)
