Single click is opening files in windows 7 search results pane.

I have set double click to open files in Explorer, but in the search results pane single click runs files.
I can't see how to fix it.
    Thanks.

    Have you tried rebooting?

I think it's a feature by default. I only noticed it when by mistake I single clicked on the last file down by the "See more results" tab.
I will turn off Windows search I think, and use a 3rd party program.

I can select single click for all executable files but the default on all the installations I've made (mostly XP and 7) is single click only for web type links and addresses; others default to double click. I'm sure there are a few instances of single click for things other than links but none come to mind.

If you find stuff through the search pane in Windows Vista / 7, it is system defaulted one click and I dont think there's a way to change that because technically those shortcut links. Its like clicking a link on a website
