Anyone try successfully the Skydrive App? On my laptop it just opens to a white screen. On my desktop it opens but shows an error telling me to go to PC Settings, User and switch to Microsoft Account instead of local. However, I am using the MS account already.
Go to Control Panel ==> Clock, Language and Region ==> Region ==> select the tab 'Administrative' Then select 'Change system locale' and set to 'English - United States' This should fix the 'German' problem. It did for me.
For me, I can open and download the files I've already got up there just fine, but trying to upload will crash it for me.
it works OK for me, using the x64. it does upload well but became disappointed knowing that u cannot drag and drop a whole folder, u cannot upload a folder, instead u have create and new folder, rename it and then upload files to it. Skydrive is far from integrated as it doesn't make uploading files any easier, same load. for that i will be sticking to my SDExplorer on my Windows 7.
I agree with dre022392. I expacted something like a right click option in explorer to send things to skydrive, witch opens a wizard or something to select the folder to put it in etc. This is just the an app that brings only part of the website functionlity to a metro app...
