SkyDrive was working decently for me until recently. These last 2 weeks it stopped syncing. It won't sync my files and folders. But, when I save a word document directly from Word 2013 to SkyDrive it is synced. Cannot figure out what is the problem, checked all settings locally (my notebook) as well as online. I have Windows 8.1 (x64) RTM with all the lastest updates installed.
So, I have established that the sync problem is one way only, i.e. notebook > cloud. The sync cloud > notebook is OK. Anyone with a suggestion?
Also if unlinking won't help try turning off sync, delete windows 8 settings from cloud, and than enable sync.
I did the sfc /scannow option. Then, I opened skydrive website and deleted the synced settings. Somehow last night, all the files got synced. Unlinking the account will cause me making another local account and more hassle. So I think that should be last option to do.
Solution for now: any time when you upload something to skydrive, go to skydrive modern app and open that folder it will be synchronize with skydrive folder in windows explorer.
Not really. I've tried that many many times and it still doesn't get synced. I have my SkyDrive folder moved to other partition. You think that plays part?
