slic 2.0 to 2.1 question on oem install disc

    slic 2.0 to 2.1 question on oem install disc

    will i still be able to use a oem dell vista install disk with no problems if i upgrade my slic to 2.1?

    Yes you are 2.1 is backwards compatible

    You need to make sure the disc is Vista SP1, otherwise it won't activate right away. I'm not sure if once you upgrade it to SP1 or higher, if it'll activate...I assume it should though.
