    Guys I have a question for you:
    if I put SLIC modded bios for Windows Seven what happens to my Vista installation? Does it continue working (so is the bios both for 7 & Vista)?

    slic 2.1 is backwards compatible with vista so they will both be activated

    Thanks a lot mates. Is there a way to activate Win7 Ultimate through bios mod then?

    If yes, with which steps? Are the followings correct?

    - flash the bios
    - install win7 without serial
    - put ultimate serial
    - install the cert

    Stupid question: can I use HP CERT with an Asus mobo?

    Edition keys are interchangeable and aren't tied to the specific certificate. If your new BIOS has a different manufacturer SLIC than the old one, you'll need to install a new cert in Vista but you should be fine otherwise.
