Let's get organized! With the upcoming official release of Windows 7 the already growing amount of requests will be flooding this forum. The result is a lot of confusion, users having a hard time finding a bios and somewhat chaos in general. Therefore I decided to create the SLIC Bios Archive. For now it allows to put up links to modded bios versions. Since I did this using a free service (wikidot.com) we won't be able to host the files there but it should give us a better overview nonetheless. Since it is a wiki, everyone can add to this "database" and edit entries if they are believed to be wrong or the files broken. For now, I have not put up a solution for request since I do not want to take away users from this forum. It may be possible to allow requests in the future by allowing partial entries with a REQUEST tag so people can easily search for them. My vision is that in the future, users can go there first (like the All Slics -tested and not tested thread) before they request a mod here. You can find an example entry here: Let's define the following rule: Only tested, working SLIC 2.1 bios files should be added. For now, no requests. I'm looking for contributors that will go through the existing threads like this one and feed them into the wiki. So if you have a lot of free time, please help out this project! P.S: For 5$ a month we could get 10Gb of storage there. Assuming an average compressed size of 1Mb this would be enough for 10.000 bios files.
