Its a MSI K7N2 Delta-L. I still have one of these sitting in my cabinet, (bought years ago as a reserve board but never really used), so if you are going to mod it i would be very interested in hearing about the outcome... EDIT: A short test with AwardTool 1.22 reveals that the SLIC and SLP insertion functions without problems. (I tried it on v5.9, dated 01/27/05, which i still had on my drive.)
@phasor. can you post me your modified firmware 5.9 so that i can flash my bios and install windows 7 please.
Sure. But first we need to be 100% sure that your board really is the Delta-L and not one of the other Deltas. (ILSR springs to mind, which too had the internal description of MS6570 if i remember correctly.) Because the BIOSes of these versions are not intercompatible. So check this out and then post again. If you know exactly which Delta you have let me know and we can proceed...
Thanx. ich checked with everest, its a MSI K7N2 Delta-L (MS-6570G) (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 ACR, 3 DDR DIMM, Audio, LAN
Thank you. I do all you write but wenn i finished Award make error ------> "cannot write main module...
Well if you dont click the Verify button, how else would you load the cert? Im sure you actually mean the other one down at the bottom...but i specifically said 'In the Certificate line'. EDIT: I think i get it now. You mean that this step is in deed not necessary for the mod because it merely verifies whether the SLIC matches the cert... ZOMG! Thanks for the correction...credit where credit is due so my sincere apologies for the misspell...
