    Hi There,

I have just creaded a slic 2.1 bios for my msi m645 laptop after reading the tutiorials on here using the "Ami mod tool 1.54".

I susessfully flashed the bios and installed windows 7 and it activated etc but I decided it is too much for my computer and want to do the same process with windows xp as I dont like the windows vista it came with.

I believe i have to make a cd with an oem bios file on it and use a matching oem slp key and a matching slp string installed in bios also?

What i have done is installed windows xp using a key and an oem copy of xp pro can i use the same method of install from command prompt as i did with windows 7 or do i have to burn a cd.

i believe i left the slp string blank when i ran the tool but in the slp folder of the tool there is no msi.txt file but in the slp2 folder there is

i was under the understanding slp 2.0 is vista?

im a little unsure what to do now.

if someone can point me in the correct direction that would be great.
