I SLIC-ified my BIOS for Windows Vista some years ago, but I have no idea where to go from here. Is my SLIC-ified BIOS still viable for Windows 7? I also have no idea if it's "2.1" or not. Any way to check?

I'm so not into this right now... Kiddie-gloves off though, I can handle most advice!

    Thanks!

Thank you, it seems I'm still on SLIC 2.0 and have to "get into it" and go through the procedure again... Thank you NoJuan!

Awesome, found it right there... Won't even have to get into it.
Updating my BIOS after a couple of years probably won't do bad either! =)

Is there any way to use this "ASUS" 2.1 SLIC for Windows 2008 Server R2? I could only find Dell and I think Lenovo certificates!

My board is a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H.

No it is not possible SLIC must match certificate brand so if you have asus modded bios you must mod to either dell or levono.

I use Daz's latest tool with my Asus SLIC to activate server 2008 R2. Just used his advanced setting that just installs the certificate and serial #.
