    Hi,

Going through the tools and forums i found very little to almost no information on slic bios modding for desktops. although i assume there is probably very little difference between laptops and desktops i am having a few problems .

I want to add a slic table for a desktop computer ( HP compaq 6000 pro ). When i run the slic tool it says "no slic table found" which i assume means my bios does not have a slic table.

I tried to add the slic data manually following one of the tutorials on the forum , which i used as a reference on how to.Successful SLIC2.1 BIOS update for Laptop HP NC6400

but when i open the hpqflash in HxDEN i cannot find the "HPQOEM... " string ( bios from hp site SP53698 ) so im not sure where i need to add the data.

HPQOEMSLIC-BPC_V2.1 ( This is from the same model machine but which has a SLIC table )

Would appreciate some guidance or any help i can get to mod the bios to include this SLIC table.

    Many thanks
    JDLM
