SLICS for Newbies? Any starting point?

    Hi, i have been using XP for the last 6 years, so i have had no need of vista/7 activations.

    Now i'm more or less interested on Windows 7, and reading i saw the term SLIC.

    So i never heard before about "SLIC", and i was wondering if there is a wiki or something where i could read and educate myself, cause searching gives a lot of links.

    How do u find out ur BIOS type?
