@ The homebrew image / instructions After doing those things ............ can that image be updated ? ............ IF not its moronic ........... because youd have to redo it every month on a clean updated image ?
why would i update the boot image ? i have to update my windows not my boot.wim in my iso plus i'm talking about windows 10 that means updates are security updates not like windows 7 updates = funtionalities
Why would you slim it down? MSFT updates all wim files when releasing refresh ISOs. There are security only and non security quality only updates. Reading that forum thread over there only makes me cry.
most of the old windows 10 boot.wim works with the newest windows 10 install.wim if u are going to do clean install if there files that been deleted from the wim/image u can use ntlite to recompress the boot.wim and save the space
i will do it on a LTSC 17763.1 so there is almost no updates on the boot i couldn't take it more down less than 293mb using programs like winreducer using NTLite gives this error so it must be done manually and testing everything manually i know that for sure but the only i'm afraid of that the forum i linked there about slimming it down is all about win7 and that's a big deal that means i don't know what to expect plus my bro took my flash drive -.-'
When people come here and ask for help ............ its often very hard because we dont know what knowledge , experience , intelligence a person has ......... and we know that the vast majority of problerms are realy ' problems ' = The user and not the software or hardware Quite a lot pof people ask for help but present things as fact that are realy their personal opinion .......... a lot of others are describing their problem in selected terms = They've f**ked their system trying to cut it with ntlite and co but wont admit it ........ and we have to pull the facts / truth out of their noses over several pages in a thread ......... only to get critizised and dissed for it . As theres no point in doing what your talking about ........ and i take you seriously ........ i thought that you might have written boot wim but meant install wim Why do you want to edit a boot wim ? What are you trying to achieve ? ....... and why ?
will do that for sure got some around will try them for sure i just thought maybe someone did it and can share the way with me because i like to know
and another thing i didn't mention you or mention anyone i just wrote in the forum so you don't need to write all this big lecture i'm asking so if someone knows any info would help like this help for example i appreciate answers like these he didn't need to come give a lecture just few words straight and simple and useful other people who didn't know just didn't write anything and thanks to everyone including every single person who just thought for a work around without writing anything
i found what i want and not just any 1 but 1 of the best slimmed ones i said the lowest size can be reached with winreducer is 293mb this 1 is 103mb now you are thinking that it must broken and all languages removed but it's perfect thinking of it's size with all languages still intact the only flaw is that the eula page has been removed so autounattend.xml file needed to skip this step or error will occur i'm sure that the person who made it suffered a lot in order to reach this size that's what i call is magic more thanks to LiteOS for the suggestion and ofc thanks to the man who made all this effort to reach this size (103mb) and i will go thank him on his site original win10 x64 boot.wim = ~480mb
