    Hi Guys,
SO, I Have Windows 8.1 RTM VL ISO Downloaded from Technet. I Was Wondering Whether there are Any Tools for Slimming It Down. You Know, Like, Making it "LITE". I Have Expiernce Using DISM and Also Have the 8.1 ADK Downloaded. Any Suggestions....??

Dism can nLite it a little (removing metro apps, disabling features with payload removed)
but if you want to LITE it for good, you have to use "un-likable" methods :D

If you just want to make a really fast version, I'd start with an N version. Those don't have all of the media features. You won't have to remove camera stuff, media players, stuff like that.
The provisioned app packages will be much less weighty.
This is, if you don't mind not being able to activate N versions for the time being...

Languages and drivers removal will account for at least a few GB of saved space.

Can someone simply list exactly what is needed to remove the camera, photo, and skydrive apps on the install.wim with dism??

    I have deployment tools installed.

Registry tweaks unlock the dism command... HOW?
I tried the SetACL commands and tons of registry entries were touched. Do the registry settings need to be done on the host machine or the mounted wim registry?
I also tried the powershell commands given and they don't show any kind of output except the last one, I get an error:
set-acl : Requested registry access is not allowed.
    + CategoryInfo : PermissionDenied: (HKEY_LOCAL_MACH...Based Servicing:String) [Set-Acl], SecurityException

And once the registry tweaks are done, what is the command to see the camera, photo, and skydrive apps on the mounted wim?

For example will this command show the camera, photo, skydrive apps?
    dism /image:c:\MOUNT /get-features
or will it be something else?
    dism /image:c:\MOUNT /Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages
    dism /image:c:\MOUNT /get-packages

    And then to remove them?
    dism /image:c:\MOUNT1 /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:??????

I can remove all the basic apps from the install wim using dism but I don't understand exactly how to UNLOCK dism and then remove the camera, photo, skydrive apps.

How do you even see the 'Owners' Key online? It's damn hidden... I'm still only can see it if I load the hive offline.
    Any hint?
