Slipstream Updates

    First off sorry for noob question,but i am an old noob:eek:,could anybody please piont me in the direction on how to slipstream the new updates to a dvd,something simple that an old one can understand,any help much appreciated ,thanx in advance:worthy:

    You can do it with DISM. Hell, theres a thread here for Mr Jinje's dism tool. Check that out.

    i'm using '7Customizer' to do that... :)

    Oh, is 7Customizer out? i made one with vlite but people are having errors with that.

    - place your win7 dvd contents on d:\win7
    - place updates on folder d:\updates
    - Create a folder "d:\mount"
    - execute these commands:
    dism /Mount-Wim /wimfile:D:\win7\sources\install.wim /index:5 /MountDir:D:\mount
    dism /image:D:\mount /Add-Package /PackagePath:D:\updates
    dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:D:\mount /commit

    - burn to DVD or pendrive

    Working perfect integrating updates. LP's, drivers and some other things.


    Obviously not as fullversion yet, there's lot to do before that.
