Slow Network Xfer Speeds

    I have 2 Win 7 machines a Desktop that is wired to the router and a laptop that is connecting wireless. I have tried all of the tweaks/tips to speed up network transfer but all I can get is around 1.5-2Mb/s Which is horrible. I have Verizon Fios so I use the Actiontec Router that came with my service. Anyone have any ideas to speed up Network Transfers?

    First, try plugging your laptop into a wired port and test speed, and tell us if it is the wireless limiting your speed or if it is still slow wired.

    Neither of those above apps help. Gotta find an extra Cat 5 to test wired brb
