hi people When i insert a dvd or cd in my dvd rw drive, first it needs some time to respond, then when i want to extract the files from dvd to my desktop or new folder, my extracting speed starts from (for example)450 MB and goes down every second like 450MB then 446MB 443MB and so on. Can someone help please.
But to what level does it go down? It's usual to have a speed burst at the beginning, but if it keeps dropping there might be something wrong afterall.
Could be dependent on the media, if it was burnt properly or if the disc has errors. There was also that stupid file transfer degradation issue on Vista, not sure if it applies to DVD roms and if nero100 has Vista ?!
Sorry i didnt explaine it correctly. For example: A file of 4GB Sometimes the speed starts at 450MB and goes all the way down to 1,2MB,and then sometimes it starts at 340KB and goes up to 6MB. I need 40min to extract 4GB I think it started when i upgraded my windows 7 from32bit to 64bit My pc performance System Manufacturer/Model number MSI/MS 7636 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Motherboard Intel(R)Core(TM)i3 CPU 540@3.07GHZ(4CPUs),~3.1GHz Memory 4096MB RAM DirektX Version DirektX 11 Graphic card ATI RADEON HD 5700 series Approx.memory 2737MB Current Display Mode 1920x1080 HD (64-bit)(60Hz) Monitor Generic PnP Monitor Manufacturer VIEWSONIC 22inch Sounds 2x Speakers(Realtek High Definition Audio) Harddrive 1 tera
