I removed the 'Press Enter!' nag in the ISO, so good chance it immediately closes on Windows so you never see the screen, but like Tito already said it is advised to run from (pure) DOS

I installed compressed OEMBIOS files that match the SLP string - ElliteGroup - CRC: 8EE1223C - en_windows_xp_professional_n_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_vl_x14-78118.iso.(volume license)
The problem is: I get an error when windows starts installing "Signature is not present..." -and the installation process stops.
Is normal to have 2 SLP strings?
    Any solution?

Well to start with en_windows_xp_professional_n_with_service_pack_3_x 86_cd_vl_x14-78118.iso is no use to you should be using en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-80428.iso

mdl01, you can use the iso you have as long as you don't modify or change any of its files before you install it. do not modify it at all, just leave it how it is when you downloaded it.

after you install it, just use the bios changer tool found here: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/6077-VLK-and-OEMBIOS-changer.../page32 (post #320 by tito) passcode is forMDL (sorry if that is against the rules but i had a hard time finding it so i figure he will too)

then find the uncompressed OEM bios files that match your slp in the bios from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/9795-The-Windows-XP-OEMBIOS-Archive

and follow the instructions on how to use the changer and then restart, and viola you are activated and genuine.

i've done this very thing on a laptop just this week and it works without any issues, yes, even using the vl copy of xp sp3.

    peace
