still the smallest size?

 

the very smallest is 69 (lzma extreme)

but lzham (259) is faster with little difference

you can try convert a file old.svf to new.svf by running , using the ratio as ##

smv m old.svf new.svf -compressratio ## -recompress

(just recompress chunck without rebuild patch against original file)

 

There is situation where 192 (zstd) is the smallest !.
zstd is very fast to decompress

 

I converted a patch with different ratio

My suggestion ; try 192, 259, 49 and 69.

160 is a 'store' compression

 

49/59/69 differ by hundredths of a percent, 192 is an obvious leader
