Snipping tool

    I am having a problem with the snipping tool not working all of a sudden
    I get the message the snipping tool is not working on your computer right now .Restart your computer then try again .If problem persists please contact your administrator.Any Ideas would be welcome


    Tried so far

    Ran sfc /scannow
    Renamed Rt backup to Rtbackup2 ---In windows\system32\logfiles\WMI\Rtbackup

    I had the exact problem on two fresh installs. I have absolutely no explanation, but after several restarts both began working and have continued to work. If I did something to fix the problem I don't know what it was; I never ran the System File Checker. :confused:

    No help at all, but at least you know you're not alone in this.

    Did u both tried reinstalling the tablet PC components in Windows Feature in Programs & Features???

    Nope, I did nothing. A couple of days after the Snipping tool failed to load, it started working and still does after several months now. :cool:
