    Sorry for making a dedicated thread about this but I just can't find a straight answer and the logic behind KMS eludes me a bit.

    I am running a Virtual W11 in Hyper-V that is currently not activated. So I obviously look at KMS_VL_ALL or related solutions, usually works well, since I have no additional license.
    However, if I used my MS account and then use KMS on that, would it not be kinda stupid? MS should be able to detect such activity, no?

    no such thing MS should be able to detect. just use the digital activation tool instead and u will be set for good.

    Massgravel is new to me but after searching a bit I see other senior MDL members use it and mention it so I guess it would be ok.

    No, and they don't care about what you do in a vm or on real hardware in a private environment.

    HWID = online activation by definition

    KMS_VL_ALL and probably all properly coded KMS activators already do this but not by Group Policy but by registry, i've asked @abbodi1406 himself.

    It's set when autorenewal is used.

    Just KMS activated (auto renewal) Word 2019 in Win 11 2000.100

    Can someone tell me which registry key it is to enable/disable KMA telemetry plz? @abbodi1406

    Started GPEdit after KMS activating and assumed it would have read the value from the relevant registry key - but it shows Not Configured? Looked at the values at:
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
    But can't see anything that may relate to KMS Telemetry.

    Update: It's
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Software Protection Platform\NoGenTicket

    1=Enabled
    And it's enabled now. Something valuable learned, didn't know KMS VL All did that, nice one.
