    Hi all,

i've encoded several own AVI-Videos to MPEG.

Does anyone know a better solution as Nero to burn them to a Video-DVD?

Nero always tries to reencode the Stream, which took about 2 hours of wasted time, as they are already in the correct format.

    ConvertXtoDVD ..

note that it is not freeware, but try to do a search on a torrent site (or softexia.com)

You don't make it clear whether you have re-encoded your avi to one mpg
file, or whether you have re-encoded to mpg DVD structure. I.E VIDEO_TS
If it's the latter there is some free software you can use to burn without
the need to re-encode again, it's called imgburn, use google to find it.

As dumble said, ConvertXtoDVD is the best i've used so far, just it take a long time to convert 5+ hours of video.
