Ok, new to the forum, and the activation ins and outs. I rent a datacenter machine which requires you to install your OS via SSH terminal access in their linux shell. I have managed that and been using it for a while, but evaluation is running out. I was wanting to help converting over to retail standard (will that mess anything up?) I don't have physical access to the machine. I've seen the cmd info to convert but don't have a key or sure what the product ID is for R2 standard. The "Microsoft Toolkit - Official KMS Solution for Microsoft Products" thread links do not work for me and since they are magnet links, I can't get the actual torrent file to use. Basically is it possible for me to convert and activate this trial without data loss? How should I go about it and what do I need. Lastly, I apologize as I'm certain this has been asked before but my searches here seem to link back to dead threads or software. Thanks for any assistance!

Server standard anyway is activable not just via KMS but also (permanently) via SLIC (daz loader, native or modded bios, boot dvd and so on)
When running the batch install file from the KMS_VL_ALL_6.6.1 located on this site it setup the auto renewal counter/task automatically, I didn't get to pick. I'm not sure if that causes a forced restart, notification, or doesn't require a restart.
I am using the VL_all_6.6.1 but have to renew every 180 days. cant seem to find a working way for the auto renewal.
Sorry for bumping a solved thread. I already execute the command in first VM OS and it works but when I execute in the 2nd VM OS its says "The system cannot find the path specified." Both of them are WS 2012 R2 I try to execute "DISM" in cmd but the windows says that DISM exists. Please help me. what must I do
